Official rules
Ghana World Cup Predictor rules
This predictor is built as a free-entry skill contest for Ghanaian readers. No betting, no deposit and no purchase is required. The highest-scoring valid entry wins.
Key terms
The important part first
No purchase, deposit or bet is required to enter or to win.
Open only to residents of Ghana aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
The winner is determined by points scored on tournament predictions, not by random draw.
Entries close before the opening match on 11 June 2026.
Promoter
Who is running this
The promoter of the Ghana World Cup Predictor is BettingTips Africa, operating the Ghana edition at bettingtips.africa/ghana/.
This predictor is a site engagement feature for editorial World Cup coverage. It is not a lottery, not a raffle and not a betting requirement.
Eligibility
Who can enter
- Entry is open only to natural persons who are residents of Ghana and aged 18 or over.
- Only one entry per person and per email address is permitted.
- Automated, bulk, incomplete, false or misleading entries may be rejected.
- Entries submitted after the stated deadline are invalid even if the form technically accepts them.
- We may request reasonable proof of age, identity and Ghana residence before awarding any prize.
How the contest works
Scoring decides the winner
Scoring
- 8 points: Pick the tournament winner
- 5 points: Pick the runner-up
- 6 points: Call Ghana’s final group position correctly
- 4 points: Call Ghana’s top scorer correctly
- 5 points: Pick the best-performing African team correctly
- 5 points: Pick the Golden Boot winner correctly
Tie-break
- First tie-break: the closest prediction for total goals scored across the entire tournament.
- Second tie-break: if entries are still tied, the earliest valid submitted entry wins.
- No random draw is used to decide the winner unless local legal advice later requires a different mechanism.
Prize
What the winner receives
World Cup supporter prize package. Prize package worth up to GHS 3,000 for the highest-scoring valid Ghana entry.
The promoter may substitute the prize with an item or package of equal or greater value if the stated package becomes unavailable. The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash unless the promoter decides otherwise in writing.
Fair use and fraud
What gets an entry removed
- Duplicate entries, fake identities, disposable email abuse or attempts to manipulate the form may lead to disqualification.
- The promoter may reject entries that appear to be generated by scripts, bots, click farms or coordinated abuse.
- If a winning entry cannot be verified within a reasonable period, the promoter may disqualify it and move to the next highest valid score.
Data and contact
How entry data is used
- We use your form data to administer the predictor, validate eligibility, score entries and contact the winner.
- Email marketing is optional and is not required for entry.
- We may retain entries for audit, anti-fraud and winner verification purposes for a reasonable period after the contest closes.
- By entering, you agree that if you win we may publish your first name, surname initial and hometown or region for winner announcement purposes.
Platform note
Facebook and social posts
If the predictor is promoted on Facebook, Instagram or similar platforms, those platforms do not sponsor, endorse or administer the predictor.
Entrants are providing information to the promoter, not to Meta. Social follow, share or tagging activity is not required for entry and does not improve the chance of winning.
Final terms
Changes, disputes and cancellation
- The promoter may amend these rules, suspend or cancel the predictor where reasonably necessary for legal, technical, anti-fraud or operational reasons.
- Any attempt to bypass the intended one-person entry rule may void all related entries.
- The promoter’s decision on scoring, verification and eligibility is final, acting reasonably and in line with these rules.
These rules apply to the Ghana World Cup Predictor as published on BettingTips Africa.
